Jefferson Sales Consultancy Ltd was born out of the perceived
lack of flexible and shared-cost sales expertise for small
and medium sized businesses. After all if we need an accountant,
solicitor, or IT specialist we are spoilt for choice, and
can engage them on an hourly or retention basis. With sales
resource there is only the option to employ a sales person
full-time and all the related costs or use a telemarketing/telesales
operation.
The founder, after 13 years sales and marketing experience,
decided to remedy this situation by providing the experience,
knowledge and skills of a European Sales Director to assist
the growth of small and medium sized businesses. Matt
Jefferson managed sales teams across the UK and Europe
in industries such as finance and leasing, insurance,
affinity marketing, business finance, IT, and business
research, combining sales management expertise with aggressive
personal and team sales targets.
Sales outsourcing and interim sales management are still
relatively new but are catching on as flexible, pay-as-you-need,
